hey yall i got a 2009 nightster that i did my twist of a mix old and new school put into one bike...
i learned alot from everyone on hear so cant take credit for this because its all stuff i seen on here..
hope u like it and of not cool cause its mine not yours
any comments, or questions feel free to ask or add good or bad you wont and cant hurt my feelings! now its time to ride and have some nice cold beers!
here the bike sits with 5,040 miles on it
now she has 24,765 miles on her

yep shocks working out good had struts on for lil but kept bending bolts and then cracked a strut so went back to shocks.
glad you like air shocks they rode good just didnt like way they looked

Your bike looks awesome. Everything flows together great. I love your kickstand puck lol. I really like those v&h pipes, what air cleaner is that? and do you know if its avail for a carb'd 883?

painting rear fender black, still debating if i gonna put struts on it or just leave it shocks..
the air filter just used the 3 bolts to the throttle body so if the the holes on carb are same size then it will bolt right on.. i will check with my buddy when he gets back from sturgis if he can get more and how much if anyone wants one just send me a pm so i geta number together for him

Went back and looked at the pics. Is that your tail light wire that hangs from your strut direct to your light? You should be able to unplug it out the wiring harness and route it down the swing arm and back up to the connection. It would probably look a little cleaner too.
