hey, i have just ordered a spring seat kit for my 09 sportster, im wondering if anyone can tell me how rough it would be if i dropped the shocks and made it rigid? im kinda into looks over practicality but i want to be able to ride my bike at the same time. any input would be appreciated
Sorry to thread jack but I had the same question, I have also heard of struts breaking. Seems like something I dont want while I am riding. Anybody have input on this?
Keep the shocks, lots of options as far as length for the look. Lots of options for performance.
Shocks keep the tire on the road, hard tails over bumps bounce, and that is not good.
