they look pretty cool. how do they handle?


i just got my nightster not even a month ago, and i scrape the pegs and the pipe all the ****ing time.

I set the spring preload at 7" and the adjustment ***** in the middle of the range.

They handle like a dream. Bumps that rattled my teeth are no longer an issue and it's more stable all around.

I added the 970's as well, and it took me about a week to realize I needed the progressive fork springs in the front as well...doesn't cost too much to replace the front springs, if I remember right they were around $70, well worth the investment!

I don't think my front forks are that bad.

I did just order the Progressive front springs though....

have you had trouble with leakage from the resovoirs on these? as im sure mine are leaking slightly ..
being in the UK customer service is not top notch.

Whoa - just checked online and at $1Grand you're in Ohlin territory! I can get FOUR nice Bilsteins for my Jeep Wrangler at half the cost. What gives with this premium markup on bike shocks?
