I've been searching the forums but haven't had any luck. My bike is 96 883 and I was told it was bored when I bought it. Question, do I have to get it dyno'd to find out for sure? Or another method?

You can pull the cylinder head or have it pumped for volume if it is important to you. Are you talking a clean-up bore or something bigger?

Not certain (newbie) he just said it was bored to now be around a 1000? That's the main reason to find out because he didn't sound certain. A little more background he bought the bike slightly used from a harley dealership and rode it for about 1000 miles then kept it in garage for years. When I got it, it only had 2600 miles. He did not do any of the modifications, he bought it as it is now.
