Default Original 48 Tank

I've noticed a lot of people doing very extensive mods to 48s but leaving the stock paint-job on the tank. Is that not odd?

I like the stock paint on them, I have a Big Blue Pearl 48 tank on my Nightster and the paint has a really cool look to it as is.

I purchased my 48 for the front tire and the peanut tank. I just wish the forty-eight on the tank stood for MPG's.

I can't imagine keeping that horrible logo on the tank, it has nothing to do with the look and style of the bike. I don't understand how a bike inspired by the 40s is shipped with a tank inspired by the 80s. Stripping the paint was mod #1 for me and I did it in the first week.

I can see if you want a bike that looks like something from the 40's then the look of the logo would be wrong.

changing the tank instantly decrease the value of the bike since that's what people look first. I know because i'm trying to sell my 48 right now with a stripped tank. LMAO.

I find that alcohol and low self esteem tend to work
