Custom Ear Plugs
I got a pack of these this weekend and molded a set for my ears. This morning was the trial run and I was throughly impressed. They only knock down 26 decibels, which is just enough to still hear the engine, exhaust, and other motorists. I was relieved that they eliminated the wind noise. I suggest these to anyone who cares about long term hearing loss.

I've been using ear plugs since the late 70s. There was a big push in industry, echoed in the bike press at the time, to protect our hearing, something every motorcyclist today should do as a routine!

I got 15dB reduction ear plugs made by a hearing professional and i love them! i can still hear the cars behind me and everything. They don't reduce frequencies drastically like other brands do, it takes the same amount off all frequencies so you can hear everything but way lower.
