Default Is it possible.........
Good Day All, got a question, I have an 06 1200 custom and I need to change the forward controls to mids. I also have the vance and hines shortshots on there now. Can it be done? Any info will help.

Short shots will work with forwards or mids.

yeah im with samhallnc, there should be no problem with short shots and mid controls

Buy exhaust gaskets and anti sieze as you'll need to remove the exhaust to fit the mids, at least I did.

Yes it will work, but why in the hell would you want to ditch forwards for mids?

The sporty is actually the wifes adn she's complaining a lil that she doesnt feel to comfortable with forward controls cause she learned on a 250 with mids. If it was up to me, i would leave it the way it is

Almost exactly what happened with my wife and her Sporty. She has actually been riding dirt for years and the Forwards were un-natural/un-comfortable for her. Now changed to mids with highway pegs to stretch.
