Ok.. 2003 Sporty XLH1200. Here is what is happening. Replaced the Stator. Now getting about 30V AC at Idle. Jumps to 75-90V AC when reved up. Replaced the Regulator. I get 14V DC out of the regulaor when it is at an Idle. However. When I rev up the engine it falls flat to about 2V DC. Replaced the Battery with a brand new one since my old one was 9 years old.
Very Frustrated. I have replaced everything in the charging system and everything seems to be working properly at idle.
Anyone know wht it would fall flat when reved up when the Stator is working properly?

Something seems to be screwy with your measurement method, particularly the 2V reading.
Since you can rev it up OK to get the stator measurement, I assume the bike revs up OK when you're doing the DC measurement of the regulator output. If you really had only 2V, the ignition system wouldn't fire, so the motor wouldn't be running.
Do have the regulator fully connected to the system? The regulator output must be connected across the battery for it to function properly.
Ok... Well I guess I will try it.. I just have a needle meter and it is old. The measurement I was taking was directly out of the regulator. It was 14V at an Idle at about 1000rpm but dropped off when reved up. Like I said this was directly at the regulator output. The battery is still filly charged mainly because I have not gone anywhere to test the system as of yet. Guess I will put it all back together and see if It dies or won't start after a while.
