Either a "decorative plug", "cover plug" or "cover cap"
I would measure the hole and order them through and online retailer i.e. Ebay.
The HD ones are, I would guess about $3.50 each whilst you get 10 for that price if you can live without the HD logo stamped on it.
Yeah just get the HD one. It's a fender plug. If you wanted to run a 2-up seat you would pop that plug out and then install the seat bolt bung just like you have for your solo seat.
thanks for the input guys.
i rang my local harley dealer, he looked through the book he had and couldn't find the part.
the closest thing he could find was a "rear fender seat nut kit". but this isnt the part i need.
oh well, carry on the search :-)

I know they have to be in the HD book, but if not you have go to Autozone and they have a ton a plugs-I'm sure one will fit.
No such thing as Napa or Autozone here in the UK. Just Hallfords and some smaller independents. I've got the 2012 parts book at home. I'll see if I can find the number for you. Edit. Just phoned my own dealer. They will give me ring back.....Watch this space!
