Default Oil Leak
Had the normal issue of the oil in the air cleaner on my 2000 1200. Fixed that with a PVC bypass and filter. Just recently have noticed oil coming from what looks like a vent tube on top of the trans. Smells and feels like gear oil. Any ideas why the Trans might have so much pressure to push it out ?

not sure what you mean... got pics? only reason i can think of for gear oil coming out is that you have too much, but have never heard of that happening either...

That's the vent tube for your primary. Mine spits a bit too, no biggie. Just end up with a few drops on the middle of the swingarm after a ride.
