Congrats on the bike. I love my 48 and it gets tons of compliments.Don't worry about the small tank, the damn ride is so rough you won't mind stopping every 80 miles to stretch.
That first time Harley Davidson owner feeling is great isn't it? I tell you, it just doesn't go away. All the more with a brand spanking new one lucky you.
I see the tank being annoying but I love the look. I guess I'll see how it works out.
110% agree. As much as a pain in the *** it is to have to fill it up everytime I ride it looks great. Get a solo bag that has a small gas bottle on the side to make sure you have extra to make it where you want to go.
Sweet...I've had my Sportster Iron 883 for about a week already. I also came from riding a crotch rocket...this is a 100% way better...I don't know about you, but I like to sit on my bike for awhile before I go to bed LOL, I didn't even do that when I first got my sportbike 6 years ago! Still looking around and deciding what to do as far as customizing. Maybe 12" apes...but I like how the stock drag bars feel. I also love the black denim finish...
Sorry guys, work has kept me busy. I have tomorrow off and will get up pics. The bike is vivid black. I don't like flashy stuff so gold was not an option. They had one at the dealership and it was way too gaudy for my taste.
