I purchased my first harley about two weeks ago. A black 2013 48. I really am enjoying the bike so far. I was a previous crotch rocket owner, so far I like the switch.

Have to agree with Sport1200N (BTW I also have asport1200N)
the 2.1 galloon tank is too small if you like to ride often, I bet you'll be switching it out for the 3.3 gallon soon. But welcome to the HD family.
Congrats on the bike. I love my 48 and it gets tons of compliments.Don't worry about the small tank, the damn ride is so rough you won't mind stopping every 80 miles to stretch.
I'm about to be in the same boat. My first bike was a Duc M696. Sold it and now I'm looking at 72's and Street Bobs. If you can please give some feedback as you get used to the 48. Pros and cons. Thanks.
I'll see if I can get pics posted tomorrow. I am sending the factory seat off to mean city cycles this month to see if they can make it more bearable. I have heard good reviews on them.
The original seat on the 48 is harder than a church bench and the tank makes the bike. Sure you can't go very far but as Captain Smooth said, it's good to stretch your legs now and then.
