Default Ignition switch

I have a 2005 sportster. I'm trying to remove the ignition switch. Can some one tell me how it is done.

Should be just one screw, I believe.....

The ignition switch housing is mounted to the ignition coil bracket by one screw. I find it easier to get to the screw if you remove the front gas tank mounting bolt, that lets you drop the coil bracket down for easier access to the screw and wiring. The switch comes out of the housing by unscrewing the chrome ring around the key slot on the outside of the housing. Pretty simple....

The Chrome ring on the outside unscrews also.

My fault didnt read it all charley lol
