Oil Level Question?

Hi guys, just a quick question, i checked the oil level on my 2012 sportster 883 today after a 5 min ride to warm engine up, bike was on the side stand on a level surface and it was reading half way between lines on dipstick? the bike has only done 780 miles, i wasnt sure if the oil level should be on the maximum and was worried thinking its used oil in only 780 miles?

Well, the oil was most likely not warmed up all that good in only 5 minutes of riding. However, yes, half way between the marks is fine. Sportsters tend to "puke" oil into the air filter if the level is all the way up on the dipstick.
