First of all dude, thanks for you service, that awesome man.
Second dont listen to that bs, ride what you want.
Although I just want to add, unless you have ridden a few bikes and made up your mind, maybe try a few now before you do, you said you plan to do a ton of mods, well thats cool alot of us do, but you want to make sure you arent going to outgrow your bike in 6 months to a year and have dumped a ton of mods into her.
You wont get it back out if you have to sell.
But if you researched and decided thats the bike for you, then more power to you bro, I hope you get it and enjoy it, be safe on the road and ignore that racist BS.
I dont see a lot of black guys on Harleys around here but every once in a while you do and it is refreshing, riders are riders dont matter where you are from or the color of your skin or anything else, its all about the ride.
I have finally chosen my bike. i decided on a 2012 883 iron got a ton of mods planned.
Anyway i am a black guy in tennessee and was told by a few people
that is not a good idea. i figure i spent 17 years in the military 13 as a marine and ive damn well earned the right to ride whatever the hell i feel like. So im reaching out to other riders for backup help me shove that racist mentality back in their faces.
Thanks guys and thankyou for all the help in picking the right bike

People are just ignorant sometimes. Whether it’s whites, blacks, or whatever telling you this it is just that, ignorant. You buy/ride what you want; you don’t have to answer to anyone. Anyhow, don’t worry about the idiots and enjoy the ride!
