Hello,
Wanted to know what clutch you've installed since buying your sportie?
Let it be know that there are issues with the sportie clutch and swapping out certain items will keep your bike from the danger zone.
Im installing a 07 08 1200C Sportster Custom Belt Drives Kevlar High Perf Extra Clutch Plate Kit

Sportster's came in first in reliability (in the article anyway) with the fewest issues, at 1200 CC the clutch seems to be the one issue HD has decided not to address.
The bigger bikes with DOHV & the chain system has and does fowel the oil pump leading to catastrophic failure. Also other issues but engine failure has me thinking I got the right chick bike after all.
My new clutch is installed and for my birthday I was able to get back on the road so I'm off for a ride & a Beer.

Yup. Why would I want to upgrade a perfectly serviceable clutch? I have changed my old Evo Glide's clutch, but that has given over 20 years srvice.
