My Sportsters winter over in a locked secure place happily keeping their hearts warm on battery tenders just waiting for the first hint of spring. In the meantime, out comes my 1974 Honda CB 360 for the winter months. It is light, nimble, and a dependable ride that takes the cold quite well and gets the road salt washed off every few weeks. With semi-knobby tires it handles all but the worst snows we get with ease and allows me to be a twelve-month rider. Just have to bundle up the old bod to keep on truckin' on two wheels...
long johns , snowboarding pants , good jacket , gloves and ride all winter long , not always easy here in eastern pennsylvania , but i do it , makes me appreciate the warmer days more.
ride , ride , ride
hahaha I'm not the only loon in snowboard gear and scarf/ski mask! Sweet! NJ/Pa winter riding here as well. My hands are always the first to become "unusable".
I get in my Jeep and turn the heat on. Or I take the Trans Am out with the T tops off and if it gets cold i turn the heat on and put the windows up, still open air, but warm. I see no point to ride when it's cold. I ride for fun only and it's im cold then I'm not having fun.
