Heat deflectors are made for and used on pre 2010 touring bikes due to heat from the stock crossover pipe. I've never seen heat deflectors on a Sportster and not sure how you would install them.
Capt Itch sells leather crotch coolers, not sure if they'd fit a Sportie. J & P have clear ones I think they're called heat deflectors or engine deflectors on their site. http://www.jpcycles.com/product/840-145

sportster heat deflectors
OK, I have a 09 XL1200L and its been triked. I have a harley oil cooler and thinking about a parade fan. Now I need to get the heat off my right leg with some kind of heat deflector but I dont wont hot air blowing on my oil tank and heating my oil up going accross town. So that said, what works??
