OK OK before you rub it in... my bike is done... my wife said NO MORE MONEY... so unless something breaks i cant spend any more... the only change on the list is to "lower" the front fender on the wheel... Other than that I really love how the bike turned out... I started out with a stock 1200C... and well this is how it turned out.... the Mini apes where by far one of the largest comfort items i added besides the seat... and it changes the WHOLE bike... i have never had a bike that was like this one... i think this is a keeper!
i got these BLACK 10in Mini apes from a Member here very nice setup... the only thing i had to change was the Brake line everything else stretched...
as you can see i am in a much more upright position!!!! very very comfortable...
Nice looking ride. and good work. that is very similar to the setup I am going towards. I have been trying to figure what the black mini apes would look like with all the chrome and I like it. one question what exhaust is that and did you install/tune yourself?
1. yes i changed the riser to a standard Chrome riser (1in) ... i used a "Nightster" gauge mount with a Dakota Digital speedo/tach I also had to change the indicator setup... i used the LED setup from the 2008+ bikes... the 2004 wiring did not work right so i had to install the 2004 plug on the 2008 LED indicator setup... well worth it. I put a write up on the part numbers and what all is involved
2. the GPS is a Garmin Nuvi 750 that i had laying around the battery does not work very well so i got a http://www.gpscity.com Ram mount kit with usb charger... it works well it is awesome for finding gas stations on trips...
3. the exhaust is a Samson Powerflow III with dB killer baffles... i have the links to the "YT" videos in my signature... YES i tuned it myself I also have Dyno results in the "sticky" section I stated in there that I use my bike and i like to be comfortable so i gave up a few HP for some lower sound and comfort... I tuned the carb myself to be about 13.1 AFR to 13.5 all the time i get about 44-50mpg. Also i am running a TC88A ignition module that i tuned as well... (custom map by Rico modified by me) the bike runs strong with that pipe... I do all my own work.. even my tune... I am a mechanic by trade i enjoy working on my own stuff
Thank you Venomized! The apes are awsome!!!
at first i thought these bars would be tooo tall... well i was wrong these are JUST RIGHT FOR ME!
Thanks guys for all the compliments the best part was it was pretty cheap to rig up a NEW brake line... that was all i had to do to make these fit... the cables and wires are the perfect length!

I have an o6 1200c it had the pull back handlebars on it and my hands kept falling asleep. I also put the 10' mini apes on it and it instantly looked better and my hands stopped falling asleep. They are a perfect fit for this bike.
