Anyone running a rear view camera?
Not like the side views on my ride aren't sufficient, but as my mind rambles on I think I might be interested in aquiring a rear view camera for my Sporty, prolly with a 3.5" display to be mounted opposite my PV on the handlebars for aesthetics.
Anyone here have one mounted on their bike, and if so, what brand is it, where'd you mount it, what'd it cost, where'd you score it, any other experiences/ideas? If you think I'm nutz feel free to say so, LOL. TIA for any replies!
=8^)

That would be too cool. Heads up display in my full face helmet. Does it come with the rpm/speed and such? Got the part number for a Shoei? Wife just ask me what I want for Christmas? Now I can take the mirrors off.

Hehe, really, everyone is entitled. It's your bike. But, holy chit!
Reminds me.
I heard a siren once. Looked back to see red lights. When I pulled over and the cop had called for backup, he came over and said, "I know you saw me, and I've been lighting you up for a mile."
I replied, "You don't ride do you? All the **** that kills you is in front, so that's where I look."
(no need to reply re. not seeing a red light for a mile. The cop was exaggerating, and I was ignoring him. : ) )
Is it that hard looking back as you duckwalk your bike out of the Starbucks parking slot? Just have one of the Goldwing guys ground guide you back! Ok so you are nutz! ;-)

Ok, hahahaha!! So the general consensus is that I am indeed nutz for thinking about improving my ability to see what's around me...so when I get out of the hospital after being run over by some old lady with blue hair who was in my blind spot you guys are gonna' be sooooooooooo ashamed of yourselves!
Just for that I'm gonna' do it anyway, screw all you posers BWAAAAHAHAHAHAAAAAAAA!!!
