If your wife is short on experience the 883 is, by far, the better choice because the 1200 has enough power to get into trouble too easily.
I tend to disagree with this statement. I can ride my 1200 just as slow as anyone else can ride their 883. It's all in the right wrist. If you don't crank it on it won't go.
Also, don't be fooled that the 1200 is heavier. It's not. In fact it weighs appx 4 lbs less than the 883 because more metal is taken out of the cylinders to make more room for the larger pistons.
Another thought: Alot of people "upgrade" their 883's to 1200's but I never heard of anyone converting their 1200 to an 883.
HAHAHAHAHHAAA, I just noticed the tagline in your sig!!! That is too funny. Damn I have signature stalkers now!!! LOL.

883's more than enough to cruise the interstates with.
Excuse me I really did not see what I was looking for. Sorry to step on your toes there dude. I won't do it again. Sorry..
My first sentance wasn't directed towards you. It was a statement about the forum. Stick around and you'll see what I mean. Don't worry about my toes, they're fine. [sm=deal.gif]
