Other than mine I have only seen one other in my area, which is a fairly remote locale.. but.. from all the forum chatter it seems to be a very popular model at least in interest. I think that it should be selling well with as many fans it has. I would love to see some actual sales numbers and hear what the MoCo's opinion on it are. I live about 3 blocks from a "biker bar" and 2/3 of all bikes there are BT so maybe I'm in a area that only rides BT and I don't know it??
(I haven't been to the bar, since I don't drink...so I haven't conversed with any of them to get their opinion, they do eyeball me when I scoot by though..)
I bought a 72 this past summer and haven't seen any others in my area. I went on a charity ride a few weeks back with about 200 bikes and my 72 was the only one that I saw. Kind of nice having a bike that isn't being ridden by everyone else.
I live in the black hills area and have not seen any 72's, and only a few 48's i plan on buying one either way just curious if this was common around the country?
Have not seen one on the road here either. I know a local dealership had a couple in the showroom this Spring, I stopped in for some oil filters late this Fall and they were still there.
