Default Winter rat project

Up on the chopping block is a 99 sportster 1200 sport. I bought it last week and after seeing what street figher did with his, I decided to head some what in the same direction. So far I have "distressed" the engine, chopped off the fender supports, and made a rear fender.
future plans:
-rigid struts(waiting on the garage floor)
-8" z bars or clip ons (undecided)
-paint headlight yellow and relocate
-tank lift
-sell the current exhaust and wrap the stock headers with natural color wrap
-white grips from licks
-chop cam cover
-relocate coil/ignition
-move headlight switch to the headlight instead of having buttons on the handle bars
-springer seat
-paint front wheel to match the rear
-paint lower forks
I am sure there is more that will be done but this is just off the top of my head. let me know what you guys think!
here are the before pics

Nothing like a new bike and some time to mod. Looks like you got some fun ahead of you!

Yeah the floor boards are going too. Those things are ankle busters and they make it very difficult to put your feet down and to access the kickstand. I'm thinking about getting some bicycle peddles. does anyone have any experience with them?

I like the floor boards. I actually wanted some on my bike but never followed through.

Have you ever ridden with them? It feels like you dont have a lot of room to move your foot to shift. I might like them better if they were moved up in the forward control position, they just get in the way every time I put my feet down.
