Tank Chrome Trim

I have a 2007 1200 low and wondered if and how I could put the chrome piece from a 1200c gas tank on my low?

you can buy it right from your HD dealer, they are big bucks though, i think around $150 or something...

61653-04 is the chrome version for $124.95

Your local dealer's parts dept can look up the satin finish (aluminum?) one that came on 1200 Custom. It's probably cheaper.

I got an 04 1200C and gonna peal the HD trim off the side of my tank, and already took the trim that goes around the gas cap off, take a look at the photos of my bike if you want them let me know.

Are the 04 custom and 07 low tanks the same?? I am interested in the top piece that goes around the gas cap. I didn't see a pic of that. Do you happen to have a shot of it? And how does it attach to the tank?
