Seat backrest question
I have a 2009 xl1200 low. I have the stock seat and a HD mid height back rest for the better half. I just bought another seat as the stock seat is not what we want in comfort. I have bought a sundowner seat. The problem I have is I can not mount the seat with the current HD backrest on the bike as the passenger part of the seat is to wide to fit between the back rest support brackets. I am wanting to know if HD makes a backrest compatible with the sundowner seat or do I have to buy after market brackets and backrest to be able to use this seat. It seams I saw a video of a sportster on youtube a long time ago and it looked like the backrest mounting bracket swept back enough to allow the seat to be mounted and the backrest also. Any help on the would be appreciated.
