I stick strickly to soap and water. Do not want to risk baking the elastomers out of the rubber(crack, crack).
The sugar thing is interesting.... will look up the chemical compounds and effects/actions on the rubber and elastomers.

Well?? Has anyone tried ******'s sugar/water wash yet? I need to clean mine up, but I'm not sure I want to start out down the road and have the tires sling fire ants all over me. Would Budweiser work?

Iremember in grade school for a science experiment they had us put a slice of bolgna in a bowl with coke in it. I don't remmebr how long it took but that coke at the bologna up. [&:]
