the dealer just brought back my 6 wk old 1200 today..had them to stage 1 so the warranty would be intact for sure, scr. eagle pipes and AC..sounds awesome...too much ice/snow round here to take it out...killing me!!!!!!!!!!!!!..want to ride it bad,...slight slope on driveway..i'd never get it back up if i made it out ..need a new picture now too!
hi 07xl1200c,it will be worth the wait, the difference it makes to the smooth running of the engine & warm up times is amazing, also the S/E pipes are LOUD.good luck with your new bike & ride safe.
I had the same thing done to my Sporty and wasassured by the dealership(stealership)that the warranty would be honored.
Anyway, enjoy! Now it sounds like a Harley!
I read in the H/D parts catalog that if the mods were made at delivery of the new bike, the warranty will be intact. Page 540 on the Harley parts catalog (2007) SS section.
EFI stage kits do not impact the limited warranty, if installed by the dealer.
My questionis this what difference does it make if installed at delivery or down the road as long as its with in the 2 yr, factory warranty period, and by a H/D dealer?
