First thing I did after I rode her home were screaming eagle slip ons that i had from another bike, removed mirros and flipped the bars. Everything has changed since then though lol
My first mod on my Iron was to flip the mirrors. Stupid idea so I flipped them back. Then I decided I'd rather live than be cool and I got some longer stemmed mirrors so I could actually see behind me.
Actually, when I ordered the mirrors my RK was in for a service and they fitted the new, black mirrors to that by mistake. I didn't notice and it took the dealer a while to figure it out when I asked where my mirrors were for the Iron. So the moral is, black mirrors don't look too out of place on an FLHRCI or, I'm too dumb to tell the difference. But whatever you do to the original mirrors on an Iron, you can't really see behind you safely.

edit..i like the flipped thing on Apes
Yup, here in South Africa we have big ones too.
Got a nice small one made up right off the bat - its illegal, but what the hell, half the guys here ride without any at all esp. the sport bike guys.
The cops are now clamping down on illegal plates & can impound your bike if they want to. I know a few guys that this has happened to recently - so might have to change back to the barn door - bleh !
Removed all warning dacals, reflectors and 1200 badge from air cleaner. Took off stock exhaust and ordered Vance & hines black short shots. Can't decide on a different air cleaner but I would like to find one that isn't as big as the stock one.
Added the accessory light kit, to me its not HD without that look, you know, that Harley, heavy bike look. That kinda did some of it but when I saw the lamp shades on cHarley's bike I thought, nice, next thing I knew, POOF installed.
Since then, a wide shield, fender mudflaps, larger grips, engine guard, flag poles, and now a CarCam for when I get run over by some bashtard.
Cheers to all,
.
