My buddy has a 1340 Road King w/ SE intake and pipes with Dyna tech adjustible ignition, I have a 883 w/ V&H pipes, SE Intake w/ SE Race Ignition. From a dead stop to 110, we were side by side running hard. Is his bike slow, mine fast or is this about right????
Just wondering.

Didn't know you had a hot rod did you? Make your 883 a 1200 and see what happens.

..i looked in my mirror and there was the Road King behind me
LOL..i can Smoke Him,on my 1200custom,i guess

Techically, both of them are slow, by comparison to other similarly sized bikes from other makes. As HD's go, theyare just about right.

Most people just don't know how fast the Sportsters are, even the 883's.

I've been told as far as Harley's go the Sportster is one of the fastest.....
