Anyone know the last year Harley put kick starts on Sportster? I would like to buy a Ironhead from late 70's early 80's but my project has to have a kick start on it.
The last year for a kick only bike was the 79 XLCH I believe (someone correct me if I'm wrong). They introduced electric-starts on the XLH in 1967, however. You should be able to convert any bike through 1979 to have a kickstart.

Well if it has a kicker and a starter on it just disconnect the electric start and POOF kick only O.o?
