Default Better breaking over stock?

Can anyone recommend a set of pads or something that will improve breaking over stock setup without breaking the bank?

I like EBC HH, a braided brake line will help also.

There is a series of things you can do, each step being more expensive! 1. A simple change of brake fluids, if that hasn't been done recently. 2. Braided hoses will send more of your lever effort to the caliper. 3. Aftermarket pads, as suggested. 4. After that it is caliper and or rotor.

As an extreme example, on my Glide I have braided hoses with 13" floating rotors and 6-pot calipers up front, floating rear rotor and 4-pot caliper. Stopping is somewhat improved!!!!

Went with the same pads, noticeable improvement, but not a huge expense. Dennis kirk had them pretty cheap when I bought them last fall.

I run Lyndall Z-Plus pads, quiet and virtually dust free. Shop around on the net for a good price.
