Default Fishtail exhaust tips

I picked up a set of fishtails for my '96 1200C. I took my mufflers off and put a set of 18" extensions, then put the tails on that. I put fender washers in for back pressure. No carb farts or torque loss, and they're not super loud surprisingly.

I like them too, can be out of place on modern sports though. Hard to get old stuff onto new stuff sometimes.

These pipes will only work on '03 and before bikes because they changed the heads(I believe), what I had to do was cut the pipes coming off of the head, and cut the new exhaust, match everything up, and weld them together, I had it welded where the heat sheild will cover the weld. Of course if u look close u can see the weld, anyway, I like the look...

Your bike is brand new, but I think it could work. Here's a set I did for a friend last summer on his 2012 Iron.

Primo, your bottom pipe looks low.does it have a hole yet,you may have to get your welder out and maybe just put a little patch on there to beef it up, use an old piece of heat shield. That long front end is super cool, did you tweak the back bone at all to balance it out? Peter Fonda
