Hi,i'm an American V-twin fans from China,i like the Knuckle,Pan,Shovel,ironhead and old Indians,but I can only buy new-style HD in China.I like 48,Retro style,fat front tire,but HD don't sell 48 in China.So i modify my 883R to dual-disk 48.Please see my photos.
I hope you can understand my poor English.
ps.I want to buy a 48 speedo bracket, anybody have a spare one please message me.Thanks
My 883R/48R is nearing completion. Mine isn't so much a 48R, not sure what to call it... maybe 883RC?
You will also need the 48's speedometer bucket, I'm picking mine up today.
This conversion is far more complex (& expensive) than I expected, but H-D has never offered such a bike.
I like the seat a lot. The rest..... absolutely not feeling it. Fat front tires are an abomination IMHO and the vintage Firestone and spoke look out of place with the Dunlop and mag. Chunky sportsters are like fat chicks with small ****. Somebody somewhere loves em, but their proportions are all messed up.
