1998 1200C with SE exhaust and Arlen Ness stage 1.
#44 pilot jet and stock 170 main jet with a C65 needle shimmed .40. idle mix just past 2.5 turns out. averaging about 38 mpg best I can tell.
Bike starts easy (cold or hot), idles great, accelerates great. Plugs have a nice "paper bag" brown color.
My only concern is about 50% of time when I restart the bike, I get a loud "gunshot" backfire out of the exhaust - and it fires right up. Kind of funny to watch people jump, but I'm curious if this is a sign that something isn't quite right on the bike.
