My 2005 883 Custom is being picked up tommorow to have the 1200 conversion done,
Its getting screamin eagle pistons and rings, dynojet kit, new cylinders
(maybe a new cam)
I hope it isn't 3 degrees out with ice and snow when its done.
Congratulations! I will be getting the 1250 conversion done. Only thing Im waiting on is to see if NRHS gets some 2004 and up heads in or not. I'm about to say screw it and just get it done without upgrading the heads.
Yep, let us know! I'm trying to work a conversion kit into the carpet budget...You married guys know what I'm talking about.
I know exactly what your talking about. I went to refinance my house... my wife set up the deal at the bank. When I got there it was $4000 more than I was told a couple of days before. She added her upcoming hooter surgery and figured it was best to tell me when we got ready to sign the paper work.
Go ahead and get the cams. The engine is tore apart, you will spend money on the cams. But if later you decide you want cams, it will cost more in labor than it will now when the engine is already open. Just my 2 cents. later
