I like the mods because its another option to have. Some people will do the mod to simply feel pleased that they took part in personally customizing their ride apart from the way it came from the factory. Imagine how much more we would pay if the harley realesed the sporty with these mods and whatnot, it would cost thousands more only because they did it.

It's a great asthetic mod and something you can easily fab up yourself, I made my coil and relocation bracket and tank lift brackets and had them installed same day. Or DK customs has amazing products as well. Cleans up the bike really nice I find.

They serve the same function as chrome, ape hangers, big fenders, flame paint jobs, bolt covers, A/C covers, tank straps, extra lights, die cast eagles, skulls, and streamers. They just look cooler.
