Here are my main suggestions with the PV (assuming you bought it from FuelMoto)
1) Flash the ECM using the map that Fuel Moto gave you. If you didnt get one from them, email Jamie and he will hook you up
2) After the Fuel Moto map is installed, go out on a 20 mile ride. It should already be running richer and better
3) After the ride, come back and set up Autotune (directions here - http://www.dynojet.com/powervision/p...Power%20Vision make sure you use Autotune basic). Go out for another 30+ mile ride of varied riding - some stop and go, some freeway and be mindful to ride in your normal style. If you're heavy on the throttle, go heavy during this ride as well.
4) Save the autotuned map and flash it to your ECM. Remove the Power Vision and enjoy the ride!
thanks
btw. would it be best to disconnect the battery for 30 miutes, to erase what the xieds "learned" the bike?

IronH, no need whatsoever to disconnect the battery or pull the main fuse.
Hook the PV up to the diagnostic port, follow the on screen directions, answer "YES" to reset fuel trims, load the MAP [should only be one if purchased/received from Fuel♣Moto], shut it off for 10 seconds and voila', done. Disconnect if you choose or mount to your liking.

'Figures you gotta' ask that question, but my PV's not mounted anywhere yet, I'm still up in the air about mounting it or not! But on that note, what mounting system did you purchase and are you happy with it?
On a second note...how's the bike running with the Fuel♣Moto MAP? Are you going to do the autotune basic and formulate a custom MAP? That's about the best you can get in any event.
