ive got brass crank case breather bolts hooked up on my R&D AC and quite a bit of oil collects on the backside of the AC, about 100 miles on it and there was an oil spot that was about to drip down onto the primary cover from the bottom of the AC bracket
...
just wondering if thats normal and i just have to keep wiping it off.
If your AC backplate is dripping onto your "primary cover", you certainly do have a problem. Your AC is installed on the wrong side of the engine.
If it's only a small bit maybe dripping onto your "cam/gearcase cover" instead, well, sounds pretty normal and minor. And most likely the AC is in the proper location.
check your oil hot and on the sidestand, it should be no more than half way between full and add. I keep my oil around 1/4 of the way up from the add mark. This will help minimize the oil blow by you are refering too.
i have my oil just a bit over minimum, and its still comes oilfoam out of the breatherbolts. it looks that it comes mostly from the rear cylinder. is this normal? any suggestion?
btw i have a air cleaner that you can see into, so i dont think its cool to see the oilfoam in there
