Default Ignition relocation?

I got one of those teardrop 2in extended tanks for my 98 XL custom. I am getting the tank painted, so in the mean time I am trying to figure out the coil and ignition relocation. The directions that I found online suck. It seems that the kit I got has 2 different brackets, one chrome and one black. I can't figure out how to use either. Does anyone have pics of one of these mounted on there bike, or better online directions? Oh, and can you have the ignition relocation done and put the stock tank back on? That way I can be more ready once the big tank is done. Seems like it might be in the way of the petcock on the stock tank, but then again, I haven't figure out how to mount the ignition yet.

You can use the Flex-Six ignition relocation, mounted off your battery box.

And here are some coil relo options that will fit with you set-up-

Not quite sure how that bolts up. I would call or email whoever you bought it from, they should be able to walk you thru it.

It's actually not that close to the engine and a lot of people like the opening at the top of the front jug, gives it a more old school look.
