as requested new pics !
Had to get the wife to help me out but here they are bigger and better ! it took about 6 hrs to put on the tank and two fenders, tank and front fender were a breeze the rear fender was a little harder but not to bad.i did not have to remove the rear tire to get the new fender on . hope you like it , once again any comments welcome...

that looks sweet. i like the bobtail fender and drag bars rock. only negative i see is to match the oil tank with the rest of the paint. but it still looks awsome nice job.

i am going to put chrome side covers on to get rid of the black ones it should blend in alot better with the bike. it is a 06-883 xl i have a stage 1 screaming eagle air intake,rejetted, screaming eagle slip on mufflers,chrome highway pegs,added the rear passanger pegs,seat from a 04 custom,4 inch risers,hd drag bars,04 hd custom paint kit ( tank,front fender,rear fender, rear bobtail kit ) it had been sitting on the dealers shelf since late 03 so i got a great deal on the paint kit !locking gas cap,and a few other add ons....i had the mirror extensions on with my stock handle bars and they worked great after i put on the drag bars i could only see my shoulders so i removed the extensions and that did not work so i flipped them upside down and to my surprise i can see behind me really good, so i think i am going to keep them flipped ! i may add a tach to match the speedo so the speedo does not look so much out of place !
