Well the other dealership offered me a 2013 superlow for $8,990 out the door and 16.25%. I called back the other dealer and he said he had no idea how he could do that and will call me back. Called back and said he can do the same thing no problem. He claimed he misread the interest rate and did not know he could deal on the price . OK sure.
I ended up applying at a credit union today and got approved for 7.99%
That's a good price for a new bike. Basically MSRP + tax and freight. Wish I could get it that price.

My credit union gave me 3.99% last time I financed a used motorcycle. My credit score is 794 though.
I heard there was a dealership in Iraq that sold HDs to soldiers for when they got home. I wonder how many of our troops got ****ing raped by HD Financing for 16.25% or 24% interest. Pisses me off just thinking about it.

I'd go w/the CU and tell the first dealership if they want the sale, BEAT the price of the other dealer....who they kidding? They smelled what they thought was a sucker and greased you up...WTF
As to rates they can vary, MB bank offered me 5.6, Harley was 7.25 and my credit union was 5.9, I was putting 30% down on the total of the King, FYI my credit score was 803.
The wide glide is paid for so I told my CU to match the 5.6 and they did for the King.
When I purchased the Glide a year ago my score was 799 and I could get 3.9 thru the CU w/nothing down. Harley was 9.9...I said screw it and paid cash...so rates vary, I have been a member of my CU for 31 years..YMMV
