What kind of helmet do you wear? I see lots of people out on the road with 1/2 helmets. I grew up riding dirt bikes and always wore a full helmet with a visor. I guess the more coverage the safer? I tried a few 1/2 helmets and they were more comfortable.
I have a full face and a 3/4 both by BELL. My 3/4 helmet is pretty low profile on my head and i love it. Its a Bell custom 500 if you want to look it up and do a little research. I can't ride with a Half Helmet here while im stationed in Germany.
I use a Daytona 3/4 DOT approved helmet which is pretty low profile. I started out using a 1/2 helmet but feel a little more comfortable with extra coverage on my head that the 3/4 helmet offers.
I use a Licks Nov Dot and a Daytona Cruiser, both 3/4 but i usually wear a Bell retro visor when riding. The wind really does a number on my eyes..they tear up way too easily.
All depends on the weather. I had 1/2 hd ,3/4 HJC, ff fULLER.
I can use my C.B for riding with to group with the 3/4 and FF they help keep the wind off your face.
I currently use a full face modular Harley re-branded HJC helmet. Its Ok. Ive been looking at a Bell Revolver Evo though lately. Might pick one of those up soon.
I prefer having a full face just because it keeps my eyes from drying out. I wear contacts so the wind really gets at my eyes without good protection.
