Default the highest handle bars one could go

what are the highest you could go with out buying longer wires ? and does anyone have pictures of mini apes and those type of bars on the bike . i want to change the handle bars on mine i want to go taller but not sure how big i could go with out wire extensions

If your bike came stock with buckhorns , you can run a 10" ape without swapping anything but if your running the drag bars you need it reguardless

I just put the RSD vintage moto bars on mine and internally wired them, no way I could've gone any taller. My wires were just long enough go solder back together and have slack to turn full lock.

this is what i have now i would like to go to mini apes or something like it . i just want to know how big i can go with out buying all new wiring and cables and such

i could always solder and extension on the wires i am worried about the cables

also do i need a different riser or could i use factory one ? if not what do i do with the speedo?

I have 7" friscos with a 1" riser with stock cables 2011 48, I think that is the limit but it works just fine and the way I re route it does not look stretched

Like the earlier poster, 10 inch apes is probably the highest you can go without longer cables

I agree that 10" is the max with stock cables and wires. 10" also has a nice look to it on the stock risers.
