Thanks, it wont be a nightster tho, its for an 883L or XL. Guessing its also pretty much the same. Does it just plug into the coil or something?

I have the SW stage 1 AC set up on my bike, but I have a custom cover to expose the filter-looks alot better. I have the K&N on my bike as the SE filter cracked around the bolt holes and I wanted the K&N as it looks better open and seems to be made better.

if you're buying a Harley tach, you can buy a harness from them, which is expensive, or wire it into the loom yourself. If you don't have a shop manual yet, that should be your first purchase.

If you want to start customizing your bike and have the bucks I would say go for it. Just make sure anything you change doesn't affect the ride till you learn the new bike or you could be changing it again. Here is how my coil relocation turned out.

opps! not sure where i came up with nightster. if it is 2007 or above make sure you get this kit https://www.surdyke.com/AdvPartInfo....umber=67182-07. there is another kit for pre 2007. no need for any extra wiring on 2007 plus. it just plugs into your wiring harness under the gas tank. all wiring needed is included. if it has the same speedo set up i see on the 2013 lows you will still need the replacement handle bar clamp also. Surdyke carries it also. think it's like $31.

If it has the stock seat the first mod should be the seat. Then ride it for awhile, learn to shift using the sound and feel of the engine an you may come to realize that a tack is a real waste of time and money (unless you are planning to race professionally and need to eke out all the power you can before shifting).

After the first 1000 k's, first thing I would do is a stage 1. ie: slip on mufflers and a sick air intake from DK
