You went to more trouble than I did. I did not remove the tank, I loosened its bolts and raised the back with a 1" oak piece, I also removed the air cleaner and its back plate. When the rear was done I raised the front of the tank and removed the front stabilizer.
I did remove the tank. I also staggered torquing down the bolts and did them in stages. Meaning I torqued them a little at a time until I reached the final torque figures. It doesn't take much.

Thank you. Tank removal was easy once you know how to do it. The video helped. I had the time and wanted to make sure I did not scratch anything... so for me, even if there were a bit more steps, this made it easier/less stressful.

Yes, same here. Started with 50 inch-lbs, then 75, 100, and ended with 125 inch-lbs.
