Gronk Mod Fail.

So I did the gronk mod on my 2013 Iron and i will start my saying that I loved the sound afterwords. It really worked well. My only issue was welding it back in...I decide to drill through the baffle and exhause and hold it in useing a SS bolt. This is how many after market slip ons are done so I figured it would be fine. Well yesterday I rode with my new helmet for the first time and wanted to gauge the comfort and noise difference to my old one. After riding for a bit I noticed the bike seems quite loud and had a load "puttering" sound when i rolled on the throttle. I attributed this to the new helmet at first and just assumed it was just louder than my previous one( these are FF helmets BTW). So i get home and I do a quick walk around the bike and notice that my front exhaust has no baffle in it. I was amazed. My first thought was that the stealership took them out as it was just in for its 1000 mile service. Only one was missing so i doubted this option but called anyway. They confirmed my thoughts and so I next figured that somehow fell out while riding. I just cant wrap my head around that though as I figure I would have noticed it. Just an odd event and i dont like the sound with no baffle so I ordered some cycle shacks today. I hope they sound good. So much for my cheap and easy mod. lol.
