Recently I've noticed a very slight shake on my 2006 883 Custom. It is hard to tell where it is coming from and my mind is starting to play games on me trying to figure it out. It isn't durring braking, I don't particularly notice it durring acceleration, and it is very slight. The bike seems to run and ride normal, and the motor sounds fine. The bike has 20,500 on it, and I notice it most when traveling with no throttle or brake. Could it be a motor mount? It is so hard to tell where it is coming from and it isn't very obvious.
my 2005 xlc had a shaking issue if you get go of the bars....I took the 21" front wheel off and put on a 19" and it rides amazing now. I am so happy I did that...best mod for the bike besides getting rid of the factory seat for a sick saddles seat.
only 6k on the bike when I got it and the wheel was true and tire was not too bad either....
