Hey guy, need some input here, just got back from my local dealer, looking to trade my 06 883C
in for a 07 1200C, they are telling me they will give me $4500.00 on a trade-in.
how does that sound? What could i get for this thing if i sold it myself?
No way I'd let the bike go for that little. For the loss you'd take in that deal, you'd be much better off modding your bike and building exactly what you want. 1200cc's, add some chrome, etc. If it's the EFI you want, that might give you some problems.
What about the buy back thingy? Dallas just went from a 883 to a 1200 for $0 plus $300 to swap a tire warranty Ask him about how it worked
Yeah, but he paid something like14k for the 883. They could afford to cut him a little slack on the next trade. That still stuck him a little in the end....$300.00 bucks to swap their in-house tire warranty? That swap was as simple as scribbling out 883 on the contract and writing in 1200.
Think about it....Now, he's riding a 14.3k 1200. Not exactly a screaming deal.
You see, they can screw you on both ends. When you buy it, you pay too much.
When you trade it for another, they give you too little on it.
I am soooooo upside down on my bike that I will be riding it for years! I love it, but I have to say that I have learned ALOT since I bought from my STEALER.
