Had to remove the battery to install, no real access to the neg cable. I routed the harness as senseable as I could instructions were IMO vage. I have the H/D plug near the side of the seat.
That battery on a 07 is a bitch to install, the negative cable is in a tight spot, what were they thinking when they thought that up I'll never know!
Went to a auto parts store and bought a 2 wire flat connector $1.50 hooked that to my charger,
now its a breeze to hook up the tender .
The other guys charger, "Battery Tender" has the complete harness with it and it is a couple bucks cheaper than the Harley model. I got mine at the Harley dealer. It also has a plug with aligator clips for generic battery charging.I think Harley has both ends for theirs but it is a seperate purchase.
I got the battery tender plug sticking out under my seat. The batteries are a pain to get out.Even dropped it on foot trying to get to the neg terminal. [&:]
