Yep me too, 90 for upper and lower. But i fitted my upper the "reversed" way, meaning the line is going towards the throttle instead of towards the bars. I also agree with you on the fact that a 60 would be better for the lower one but also for the upper or maybe a 30.

So my answer to you BMCsteve is go for a 60 for the lower and a 60 or a 30 for the upper.

Thanks guys. Looks like I'll go with a 60 for the top and a 60 for the bottom

Default Cable Extenstions

Thanks for all the great info on what cables that need to be changed. I too plan on installing some Z Top Handlebars.. about a 9 inch rise. My question is I know I may have enough wiring as I have a wire tuck and tank lift, but if I were to run the wires internal to the handlebars, would I still have enough wire length? I noticed the pictures posted had the wires external to the bars. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Default 2018 48

hey all,
I’ve a 2018 48 and want to put 10-12” apes on similar to the 48 custom, I’m told I’ll need a full cable/hose kit but reading here maybe not ? Has anyone put these bars on a 2017/18 bike with just a new brake hose ?
Cheers guys

I installed Biltwell Frisco's at first on my forty eight. I believe those are a 7-8" rise. Fit fine with all stock wiring and cables, although the brake line was a bit of a stretch. Switched to 10" z apes, all cables reached except stock brake line, which I switched to I believe a 46" line. A 12" bar should be doable I feel with just a brake line swap too, but you may have to get creative with routing the stock length clutch cable.
